Lehman was captured at age 10 in Mason County & became an Apache warrior. Later he joined a Comanche band & became adopted son of Quanah Parker. When the book was issued by Encino Press, the first copies had the wrong photo of Lehman on the d.j., the cover of the book, and immediately before the title, corrected thereafter.This is one of the few copies of the true first edition, and SIGNED by Greene.
