Blue cloth w/gilt lettering, frontis, 208 pp., photos, index. Smith enlisted in the 17th Regiment, Maine Volunteers at 19. He fought at Fredericksburg & Chancellorsville, and was wounded at Gettysburg where he left the army & got married. After the war, he left Maine & moved to Waco, Tx., then later to Dublin.
