Cambridge Harvard 1925 2nd Printing Cloth Very Good 
Original green cloth with gilt lettering, 289 pp., music. Gift inscritption on fly. Both hinges weak. Texas- born author was a musicologist & anthropologist educated at Baylor, the Univ. of Chicago, & Columbia where she received her Ph.D. She was a pioneer in the field of collecting folk songs and music. She authored THE WIND anonymously in 1925 which was later made into a movie, and several other books.
