168 pp. Very scarce privately printed West Texas county history. Much on outlaws, especially John Wesley Hardin, including an account of his killing Sheriff Charley Webb in Comanche in 1874 & the subsequent lynching of Joe Hardin & 2 companions near Comanche. Hardin was later tried in Comanche. Book incorporates the memoirs of Wm. J. Nabers, Indian Fighter & Texas Ranger, who was author's father. Much on pioneer life.
