Green cloth (some speckling on spine & front edge), 251 pp., photos. No d.j. Front hinge cracking. Written by his wife, an excellent Texas book. Dixon was in the Battle of Adobe Walls in 1874 where the buffalo hunters fought a large group of Cheyenne, Arapahoe, Commanche & Kiowa. Later scouted for Gen. Miles. Congess later awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor to the survivors of Adobe Walls.

A very nice copy with NO tearing of cloth at top of spine as is usually the case. Contents excellent.
